Wisconsin Native American Rock Art: Gullicksons Glen. December 2015.
Ever since 1974, I have visited the Gullickson's Glen rock art site near Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Over these 40+ years much has changed. One entire panel has been destroyed by natural causes. A wolf figure is also slowly disappearing. The back wall of the rock art panel has been covered with lichen, making the rock art very difficult to see.
I hope you enjoy this short photo essay. This is the first of many ebooks I plan to publish in 2016.

Santa Rosa de Lima: The First Church of Abiquiu, New Mexico.
The first in a series of my new iBooks on Prehistoric and Historic Sites of the American Desert Southwest has just been published by Apple on the iBooks Store. This series will consist of a number of photo essays on archeological and historical sites from my travels throughout New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Utah.
This first book is devoted to the remains of Santa Rosa de Lima, the first church of the original Spanish frontier settlement of Abiquiu. The church as built in the late 1730's, but was abandoned in the 1747 due to devastating Ute and Comanche raids.
At the present time this book is only available on the Apple iBook store. All these books are free. You will need a Mac Computer or IOS device running iBooks to view this interactive book. A pdf version will be available for download shortly.
